On May 31st, FONO CARE teamed up with the Maternal and Child Medicine and Nursing Professional Committee of the Guangdong Provincial Preventive Medicine Association and expert teams including Dr. Chen Yunbin from Guangdong Maternity and Child Health Hospital to actively promote the "Rainbow House" public welfare initiative, providing comprehensive support and assistance to families with critically ill and premature newborns, thereby making greater contributions to maternal and child health and bringing more hope and warmth to every family.

The Rainbow House Public Welfare Salon was organized by the Maternal and Child Medicine and Nursing Professional Committee of the Guangdong Provincial Preventive Medicine Association, jointly implemented by various committee units, and is a practical step towards achieving the goal of reducing infant and under-five mortality rates outlined in the Healthy China 2030 initiative, as well as mitigating severe disability and mortality rates among children.

The activity aims to leverage the expert resources of the Maternal and Child Medicine and Nursing Professional Committee, fully mobilize social forces, engage social volunteers, and establish a support model comprising "families + professionals + social volunteers" to promote the post-discharge rehabilitation of critically ill and premature newborns, safeguarding their healthy growth. It is hoped that through the popularization of maternal and child medical nursing knowledge, face-to-face guidance by renowned medical teams, improved doctor-patient communication, and enhanced community cohesion, the goal of Healthy China will be realized.

At the event, Mr. Xiao Keyong, a representative from FONO CARE, gathered with experts, scholars, industry elites, and caring volunteers from all over Guangdong Province to witness this profoundly meaningful public welfare event.

Two medical experts from Guangdong Maternity and Child Health Hospital conducted professional knowledge lectures for parents participating in the event, further enhancing their parenting skills and awareness of infant health management.

Through the diverse activities and professional knowledge sharing of the Rainbow House Public Welfare Salon, tangible assistance and guidance were provided to families with critically ill and premature newborns.

The launch ceremony and the inaugural event of the Rainbow House Public Welfare Salon were successfully concluded. It is believed that with the joint efforts of FONO CARE, the Maternal and Child Medicine and Nursing Professional Committee of the Guangdong Provincial Preventive Medicine Association, and Guangdong Maternity and Child Health Hospital, the Rainbow House Public Welfare Salon will continue to make greater contributions to maternal and child health and bring more hope and warmth to every family.
